The four blends at a glance
All blends are roasted in two stages in Conegliano and sorted bean by bean with electronic colour sorting. They differ mainly in their composition, and therefore in body, acidity and intensity.

- Domus Marrone: Robusta and Arabica, intensity 5 of 5, baked goods and dried fruit, very bold, CHF 26.90
Non Plus Ultra: for lovers of refined espresso
Non Plus Ultra is the top of the range. The roasters use only Arabica, washed and natural, mainly from Central America and the Horn of Africa. In the cup it is an elegant, layered espresso with floral and fruity notes, lively citrus acidity and a finish of cocoa and nuts.
Choose Non Plus Ultra if you drink your espresso straight, enjoy nuance and prefer little bitterness. The blend has won gold several times at the International Coffee Tasting, most recently in 2025, and is certified “Espresso Italiano di Qualità”.
Plus Oro: the golden middle
Plus Oro combines fine Arabica and Robusta into an espresso that is smooth yet intense, with medium body and delicate acidity. Notes of pastry and cocoa bean, a hint of spice and a finish of cocoa and hazelnut make it round and sweet.
Plus Oro is the right choice if you want an award-winning espresso that works equally well straight or with milk. It also holds the Gold Medal of the International Coffee Tasting 2025 and the Camaleonte Espresso Award.
Optimum Rosso: the everyday all-rounder
Optimum Rosso is the blend for everyday enjoyment: popular Arabica for sweetness and aroma, Robusta for body and a stable, hazelnut-coloured crema. Delicate notes of cocoa and pastry, low acidity and a long finish make it easy-going and versatile.
In cappuccino and latte macchiato, Optimum shows its full strength. For bean-to-cup machines at home and in the office it is the blend we recommend most often.
Domus Marrone: bold and full-bodied
Domus Marrone combines selected Robusta and Arabica and brings the most power to the range. A very intense aroma, round body, a hint of baked goods and a finish of dried fruit give it a decisive character.
If you like your espresso strong, or want a coffee that still stands out with plenty of milk, Domus is the one. It is also the best-value blend in the shop.
